Are there advantages to playing on a smaller network rather than a giant poker room or is it me?

EX. last night finished a great session on Betroyalpoker, i was up about $300, feeling just completely full of myself i decided to try my luck another session Pokerstars and got slapped around like a redheaded stepchild.

I cant seem to win on the big sites but i do extremely well on the smaller networks

Your Opinion????????

I don't think it's small versus large network as much as player type vs. player type. There are places where I clean up and other places (same size) where I have trouble. Pokerstars draws a crowd that's interested in learning to play well. Some other place like Bodog, for instance, draws a different kind of player.

Allowing all that, every site can be beaten as long as you practice good table (and seat) selection. Watch the table you're thinking about joining. After a while, you'll be able to spot the profitable ones.

I've noticed that myself when I got and play on sites as well. I've always had a tough time winning at pokerstars. No problem winning at Absolute, FullTitlt and Party. Bodog is iffy...a lot of weird fn calls by people.
